Gallipoli is their most chaotic tune yet; full of ferocious hooks and racing krautrock rhythms, the track thrives off the kinetic pandemonium of its performers and anti-imperialist message. Imagine a particularly disgruntled late 60’s Doors recording in a down-trodden garage somewhere in Berlin, and you’ll find something close to the sound of this raucous record.
lyrics
Learn and then you rest,
Don't run away from who you best serve,
Search the seven seas,
And lay your life down for a Queen,
Learn what to believe,
And throw away your reverie,
Stand at ten abreast,
Facing who you see as lesser,
Son, I do attest,
Nothing here but second best serfs,
Roll ‘em up and leave,
We’re gunning for Gallipoli,
Oh, we’re nearly there,
Run and run and run and run
